Had a busy day waking up in Salerno, Italy and then touring the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii.
The Amalfi Coast is absolutely stunning. We did both a walking and a boat tour. We saw the houses of Sophia Loren, Jackie Kennedy and Gina Lollobrigida. We also tried the Lemon Sorbet which was good albeit expensive.
It was very interesting to see Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. There is so much history that the Archeologists dug up. We couldn't believe how big it was. You need a full day to see it properly.
Tomorrow we wake up in Sicily and will be touring Mount Etna.
