It is hard to believe that we are now at the halfway point of our trip. We have done and seen so much already and can’t wait to see what lies in store for us in the next 40 days.

We went on a Hop On/Hop Off bus to see the major sites that we didn't get to yesterday. These included the Colosseum, Forum, Circus Maximus and the Victor Emmanuel II which to us is one of the most impressive structures in Rome.

The Trevi Fountain was stupidly busy with idiot tourists. You now have to pay AND queue up to get really close to it however thanks to Mike's throwing arm a Toonie (a $2 coin for non-Canadians reading this) now sits at the bottom of the fountain. The Spanish Steps were also busy but we were able to ascend them which was a bit of a surprise.

We ended the day by going to easily our favourite eating place on this entire trip - Ristorante Feelsgood. It is the only place that we have been to 3 times and we absolutely loved it. We will be sorry to leave these people as they feel like family to us.

Tomorrow we head to Civitavecchia where we are preparing to leave on our Sunday cruise by doing laundry and other such fun stuff.
