It took us 5 trains and 2 buses to get to Milan so it was a long travel day. As soon as we crossed into Italy, things became a lot more chaotic than in Switzerland.
There is a lot of jostling getting on and off of public transport. Thankfully this is not a problem for 2 Canadians who know how to bodycheck and throw elbows 😏
The Italian bus ride went along the coast of Lake Maggiore which is beautiful. We might not have seen it by train. We eventually got to Milan after 7 hours of travel and were rewarded with a really nice Train Station and ApartmentHotel Room. We are too tired to do too much other than have some wine and relax. Lots of exploring tomorrow!!
