It was a bit of a haul to get to Zermatt. We had to take 4 different trains and a bus due to part of the line being closed for repairs. Initially we weren’t too happy about the bus however we got to see some great scenery from it.

Zermatt is a beautiful place. It is supposed to be car free but they have these electric cube vans running around all over the place, not to mention the electric bikes and scooters. Regardless it is a great place and the Matterhorn is majestic. Our hotel room has a huge balcony that gives us a great view of the mountain.

We explored the town today but were a bit travel weary. Tomorrow we will explore the area further possibly taking a cable car to the top
