Took the train from Lucerne to Interlaken. It was a 2 hour journey and we were in a panorama car which was included with our Eurail card.
The views were so breathtaking that we didn’t want the journey to end. We were going up and down through the Alps beside stunning lakes.
We explored Interlaken once there and watched the paragliders landing in the centre of the town park with the glorious Jungfrau in the background.
Our hotel is an old Swiss style building and has beautiful gardens in the background. We could hear the cowbells ringing from the herds nearby.
Tomorrow our plan is to see the Eiger and the North Face (where the clothing line gets it’s name from)
